About this role
**COTS System Administrator** **About the Role** Support the implementation and operational sustainment of a Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) physical access system. Partner with the government Product Manager to provide technical direction, strategic solutions, operations and maintenance (O&M) support, and vendor coordination. Work within Agile methodologies (Kanban and Scrum). **Key Responsibilities** • Provide development and O&M support for production systems during core and non-core hours • Install, configure, and validate COTS applications in test and production environments • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (networking, server/VM ops, identity/access management) • Evaluate system requirements, dependencies, and integration points • Support infrastructure activities: - **Networking:** ports, protocols, firewalls, load balancers - **Compute:** server/VM provisioning, configuration, tuning - **Database:** Microsoft SQL Server configuration, querying, troubleshooting - **Identity & Access:** authentication/authorization, SSO, Microsoft Entra ID - **Integration:** API frameworks including Microsoft Graph • Prepare documentation for accreditation, compliance, and security assessments • Develop and maintain system documentation (installation guides, baselines, procedures) • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and issue resolution • Communicate project status, risks, and technical considerations to leadership **Required Qualifications** • 5+ years experience with: - Ports, protocols, firewalls, network connectivity troubleshooting - Windows and/or Linux servers, VMware or Hyper-V platforms - COTS software deployments in government environments - Scripting (PowerShell, Python, or similar) • Broad technical experience across networking, servers, virtualization, identity management, system integration • Solid understanding of relational databases and Microsoft SQL Server • Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID • Understanding of accreditation, compliance, and security assessment processes • Ability to interpret requirements and coordinate with specialized teams • **Active Top Secret clearance required** • **Willingness to work onsite in DC** **Bonus Skills** • Experience with Certipath TrustVisitor or similar identity-validation platforms • Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies • Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) **Compensation** $91,300 – $184,900 USD (for CA, CO, HI, IL, ME, MD, MA, MN, NJ, NY, VT, VA, WA, DC, and Cleveland) *Accenture Federal Services is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.*
