**Cybersecurity Incident Response Triage Analyst** **About the Role** Join Accenture Federal Services' Cybersecurity Incident Response Team (CIRT) within the CISO organization. You'll work on a shift-based team monitoring, analyzing, and triaging security alerts from SIEM systems, security sensors, ticketing systems, and direct reports. This role focuses on qualifying events, determining true/false positives, and coordinating incident response activities. **Primary Responsibilities** • Monitor and respond to cybersecurity incidents related to policy violations • Analyze and investigate incidents to determine nature and scope • Coordinate with incident response teams and operations for effective resolution • Document incidents and response activities in detail • Stay current with latest cybersecurity threats and trends • Assist in developing and refining incident response strategies • Collaborate with operations, legal, HR, and management on security investigations **Required Qualifications** • US Citizenship • 1-2 years information security experience (or equivalent education/work experience) • 1+ year event and log analysis experience with security tools (Anti-Virus, IDS, Firewalls, Active Directory, Web Proxies, DLP, SIEM) • Strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail • Familiarity with network/host-based security applications and assessment tools • Knowledge of TCP/IP, application layer protocols, and packet analysis • Understanding of static and dynamic malware analysis concepts • Experience with indicators of attack and compromise • Windows/Linux architecture and endpoint analysis knowledge • Proficiency with data parsing tools (Excel, grep, sed, awk, regex) **Bonus Qualifications** • SANS GIAC Certifications (GCED, GCLD, GCIH, GCFA, GREM) **Compensation** $57,200 – $109,400 USD (for select states and DC) **Why Join Us** Glassdoor Top 100 Best Place to Work.
