**SAP Costing / Material Ledger Manager** **About the role** The SAP Costing / Material Ledger Manager oversees product costing, inventory valuation, and financial accuracy in SAP—focused on the Material Ledger and actual costing processes. You’ll partner with the client to ensure compliant cost flows, lead period-end close activities, and drive process improvements and system enhancements. **What you’ll do** - Gather requirements and design solutions to meet business needs - Analyze and design new business processes; create documentation that guides implementation - Partner with the business to define product requirements and use cases - Coordinate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet functional requirements - Develop test strategies and manage large, complex testing efforts - Perform business process design and system analysis - Coordinate across architects, developers, technical services (e.g., BASIS, Middleware, Portal), and business analysts - Maintain, enhance, and/or develop SAP modules, including interfacing with other applications - Support budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning - Manage a team, including mentoring and training junior team members **What you need** - 7+ years of SAP ECC Controlling experience - SAP Finance subject matter expertise in end-to-end Product Costing, including Material Ledger functionality and integrations (e.g., Project Systems, Payroll, Materials Management, Finance) - Knowledge of CO functionality (e.g., Internal Order, Cost Center Accounting, Assessment, Distribution, Cost Transfer) **Nice to have** - Bachelor’s degree in a related field - Relevant SAP certifications - Experience with SAP Public Sector Financials and knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting **Eligibility requirements** - US Citizens only (no dual citizenship) - Eligibility to obtain a government Public Trust clearance **Pay range (where applicable)** $126,300 – $243,100 USD
