About this role
**Information System Security Engineer (ISSE)** **Overview** Accenture Federal Services is seeking an Information System Security Engineer to support a client on a **hybrid** schedule. The ISSE will review and assess **Risk Management Framework (RMF)** authorization body of evidence for **classified information systems**. **What you’ll do** - Review new and existing systems for **technical compliance** with IA directives and protection of data at all classification levels, including **SCI** - Advise on **in-depth security design reviews** and **threat/risk assessments** - Provide inputs to technical artifacts, including **POA&Ms**, **SCTMs**, and **Risk Assessment Reports (RARs)** - Conduct **site visits (as required)** and assessments to inspect IA plans and security control implementations; support **Incident Response Team (IRT)** activities **What you’ll need** - **4+ years** implementing **NIST 800-53 Rev. 4** and/or the **RMF** - **4+ years** with **Windows and/or Linux** environments - **4+ years** with **virtualization or cloud** environments - **2+ years** using information security and assurance practices/principles - Experience with **Splunk** - **DoD 8140 compliance** (e.g., **Security+**, **CISSP**, **CASP**, etc.) **Bonus points if you have** - **ACAS/Nessus** scanning experience - Experience using **SIEM/Splunk** to configure/operate SIEM, create dashboards, and reports - Experience with **incident handling** procedures - Other security-related certifications (Cloud, SIEM, forensics, Linux, Windows, etc.) - Experience in a **DevSecOps** project environment - Former/current system administrator, developer, or engineer experience - **JSIG** or **ICD 503** compliance - Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present technical concepts clearly to semi-technical customers - Ability to interface with seasoned Government personnel - Ability to work in a matrixed team environment and support multiple efforts - Desire to learn new technologies/tools and share knowledge with the team **Clearance** - **Must have TS/SCI level clearance** **Compensation (where applicable)** - Base pay range: **$116,900 – $243,100 USD** (states listed by Accenture Federal Services) *Note: Additional employment statements and benefits information are included in the source posting.*
