**Java Developer** @ Accenture Federal Services **About the Role** Join our team serving US federal government clients across defense, national security, public safety, civilian, and military health organizations. As a motivated developer, you'll deliver innovative solutions using Java to help improve services for the American public. **What You'll Do** • Apply application design and development across multiple technology areas • Configure software products and systems • Develop product and platform prototypes • Develop proof of concepts across the technology stack • Drive consistent quality solution development and delivery **Required Experience** • Professional experience developing responsive applications using Java • Professional experience with JEE or other Java frameworks (e.g., Spring) • Professional experience with Java development tools (e.g., Eclipse, JUnit, Git) • Professional experience with relational databases, SQL, or query languages • Experience developing Java Microservices • Experience with code assist technologies (Gemini, GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer, etc.) **Nice to Have** • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technical Science • Consulting experience and understanding of customer/business needs • Java Application Servers (Red Hat JBoss) • Data modeling and ORM tools (Hibernate) • REST/SOAP API integration • Architecture design with common design patterns • AWS experience • DevSecOps tools (Jenkins, Ansible, CI/CD) • Performance testing and tuning **Requirements** • US Citizenship required **Compensation** $83,600 – $196,000 USD (for CA, CO, HI, IL, ME, MD, MA, MN, NJ, NY, VT, VA, WA, DC, and Cleveland) **Why Join Us** Recognized as a Glassdoor Top 100 Best Place to Work.
