About this role
**About the Role** Accenture Federal Services is seeking a **Fullstack Developer (Ruby on Rails & React)** to contribute across the full agile development lifecycle. You’ll build user-facing experiences with React, integrate APIs using **Ruby on Rails**, and support backend services with **Java Spring Boot**. **What You’ll Do** - Build and maintain user-facing applications using **React.js** and modern front-end technologies - Develop and enhance a **Ruby on Rails API gateway** layer to integrate with **Java microservices** - Support and extend back-end microservices using **Java Spring Boot** - Analyze technical requirements and develop/debug code aligned with design objectives - Write comprehensive tests for front-end components and API integrations - Identify, investigate, and resolve defects during development and testing - Ensure seamless integration of **functional, security, and performance** requirements across the full stack - Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement accessible, user-friendly interfaces - Apply application design and development across multiple technology areas - Configure software products/systems to deploy code - Develop product and platform prototypes - Track application performance and collaborate to solve complex problems **What You Need** - Minimum **3 years** of experience; strong proficiency in **React.js**, **TypeScript**, and modern JavaScript (**ES6+**) - Experience with **CSS/SASS**, responsive design, and front-end best practices - State management patterns (e.g., **Redux**, **Context API**, or similar) - Proficiency in **Ruby on Rails**, especially **API-only** applications and HTTP client integration patterns - Experience with **Java 11+** and **Spring Boot** for microservices development - **REST API design**, consumption, and **JSON** data handling - Understanding of **SOA** and microservices patterns - Testing frameworks (e.g., **Jest**, **React Testing Library**) - **Git** version control and agile development workflows - Minimum **2 years** with Java-based MVC frameworks (e.g., Spring MVC/Spring Boot) or JavaScript/mobile frameworks (e.g., Angular/NodeJS/ReactJS) - Proven experience using **HTML5/CSS3** in multiple responsive web applications **Preferred Skillset** - Bachelor’s degree in a computer science/computer discipline **Pay Range (US Locations Listed)** - **$78,600 – $160,200 USD** *Note: Compensation varies based on factors such as location, role, skill set, and experience.
