**Computer Vision Data Engineer** **About the Role** Accenture Federal Services is seeking a highly skilled Computer Vision Data Engineer with hands-on experience building and maintaining computer vision data pipelines. The ideal candidate has strong ETL expertise, works comfortably with images, videos, and associated metadata, and understands how to design robust, scalable processing systems for high-volume media data flows. **Responsibilities** • Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for computer vision workloads, including ingestion, transformation, and delivery of image, video, and metadata assets • Implement and manage automated workflow orchestration using NiFi and Prefect • Develop high-performance media processing services and tools using Java, FFmpeg, and OpenCV • Containerize and deploy data services using Docker • Collaborate closely with computer vision engineers, MLOps, and platform teams to ensure data readiness and pipeline reliability • Optimize processing steps for speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency • Establish monitoring, logging, and testing strategies to ensure pipeline stability and data quality **Required Qualifications** • 5+ years of experience with computer vision or media-centric data pipelines • Strong ETL background involving complex transformations, metadata generation, and media normalization • Hands-on experience with: NiFi, Prefect, Docker, FFmpeg, or OpenCV • Experience working with images, videos, and related metadata structures • Familiarity with distributed systems and scalable data processing patterns **Preferred Qualifications** • Java (core development) • KLV metadata extraction (e.g., 0903, 0601) • Computer vision model deployment, training workflows, or deep learning frameworks • Streaming media systems or real-time video processing • Cloud environments and orchestration platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes) • Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills **Clearance Requirement** • Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain polygraph **Compensation** $119,700 – $165,100 USD (for select states and locations) **About Accenture Federal Services** A Glassdoor Top 100 Best Place to Work dedicated to helping the US federal government.
