Join a collaborative, caring community where you’re empowered to grow through hands-on experience, certifications, industry training, and more. **Job Description** The Cloud Engineer will design, engineer, and integrate the cloud environment that forms the foundation of the WDP System. **The work:** - Implement and manage cloud services, optimize cloud architecture for performance and cost, and ensure the environment is secure, scalable, and highly available. - Architect multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions; implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate provisioning; establish cloud governance policies and guardrails. - Design and implement cloud networking solutions (e.g., VPCs, subnets, connectivity to on-premises); configure cloud security services and controls; implement cloud monitoring and logging for operational visibility. - Optimize cloud resource utilization to control costs; implement auto-scaling for variable workloads; design disaster recovery and business continuity solutions. - Evaluate new cloud services and features; maintain cloud architecture documentation; provide cloud expertise to other teams. **Must have:** - 3–5 years of experience in cloud engineering, automation, and security in enterprise environments. **Security Clearance:** - Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required (depending on position).
