**Systems Engineering Lead** **About the Role** Serve as the technical lead for the HADES (Hybrid Architecture and Development for Experimental Systems) program, a cutting-edge U.S. Space Force initiative. You'll own system architecture, engineering direction, and technical baseline execution across satellite ground systems and operations centers (SOCs). **Key Responsibilities** • Lead systems engineering activities: requirements development, CONOPS refinement, system architecture, and V&V planning • Develop and maintain the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP) with configuration and risk management • Provide technical leadership for ground system design, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment • Oversee SOC engineering support including command/control and mission software integration • Identify system-level risks and lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions • Support cybersecurity and accreditation activities • Lead engineering change activities and technical review boards • Mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams across systems, software, cybersecurity, and logistics • Coordinate with Government stakeholders and mission partners **Required Qualifications** • Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (must maintain) • Bachelor's in STEM/Management + 12+ years experience in space/ground systems/command & control, OR Master's + 10+ years • Demonstrated experience leading system architecture and CONOPS development • Experience with requirements management, I&T, V&V, and cybersecurity-driven engineering • Multi-contractor technical integration leadership • Strong understanding of satellite ground systems, SOC operations, RMF/ATO, and configuration management • Excellent communication and technical leadership skills **Desired Qualifications** • Master's degree in related technical field • INCOSE CSEP/ASEP certification • Space Systems Command program experience • Cloud architectures, digital engineering, or DevSecOps expertise • Atlassian tools experience **Salary Range:** $135,000 - $216,000 **Location:** Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, NM *Position contingent upon contract award.
