## Cloud Support Systems Engineer **Location:** Jessup, MD **Type:** Full-time (1880 hours/year; work performed at a customer location) ### Responsibilities - Provide technical and process recommendations, conduct technical analysis of alternatives, and support configuration management. - Assist in planning, developing, deploying, securing, and operating IT infrastructure across the customer enterprise (all domains). - Support transition planning and processes for services including data links, networks, government communication systems, interfaces, and processing systems. - Help standardize services so enterprise tools are developed within the organization and align with internal technologies. - Support the Government Team in ensuring required activities for collaboration services are completed. - Assist with relocation of agency collaboration tools. ### Qualifications **Required** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field **plus** at least **20 years** of systems engineering experience. - A Master’s degree or PhD may substitute for two years of experience. - High school diploma/GED plus **24 years** of systems engineering experience is also acceptable. - **Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph**. **Desired** - Experience with requirements gathering, design synthesis, and system design. - Experience with **Mission Island Platform**. - Experience with **Machine Shop** and cloud-based support. - Experience with **AWS, Azure**, and other cloud technologies. - Ability to perform risk analysis, evaluate test results, identify/report health status of activities, and ensure health/compatibility of enterprise and mission. - Experience providing troubleshooting recommendations and researching solutions. - Proven ability to lead and mentor. - Familiarization with **IaaS** infrastructure. **Security Note** - Applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. ### Benefits & Compensation - Enhanced benefits for a critical National Security program (including heavily subsidized employee benefits for you and your dependents). - **25 days of PTO** accrued annually (up to a generous cap). - Eligible to participate in an attractive bonus plan. - **Target Salary Range:** **$176,000 – $282,000** (varies by factors including scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, competencies, and location). #MDFSP #AJCM
