**Senior Director, Privacy, Product and Platform Security** **About the Role** Roblox is seeking a Senior Director to lead teams responsible for protecting the systems, products, services, and data powering the Roblox platform. You'll define how security and privacy are engineered into one of the world's largest platforms, working on problems spanning product design, distributed systems, infrastructure, data, privacy, and emerging technology. **Key Responsibilities** • Set vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Product Security, Platform Security, and Privacy Engineering • Lead and grow a high-performing organization of managers and senior technical leaders • Establish security and privacy architecture principles for products, services, and data systems • Raise the security bar across the software development lifecycle • Drive design and adoption of hardened, secure platforms at scale • Advance Privacy Engineering through privacy-by-design practices and technical controls • Translate regulatory and company privacy commitments into engineering requirements • Own cross-functional priorities, metrics, and delivery for security and privacy programs **Required Qualifications** • 15+ years in security engineering, privacy engineering, infrastructure security, or related field • 8+ years leading and developing engineering or security organizations • Deep technical expertise in security or engineering disciplines • Track record of delivering measurable security outcomes across large-scale systems • Experience embedding security and privacy into the software development lifecycle • Strong systems thinking across modern production environments (cloud, distributed, containerized) • People-centered, results-oriented leadership style **Compensation & Location** San Mateo, CA headquarters | $457,970 – $525,510 USD annually | Onsite Tue–Thu Equity and benefits eligible **Equal Opportunity** Roblox provides equal employment opportunities and reasonable accommodations for candidates with qualifying disabilities or religious beliefs.
