**Software Engineer, Geospatial Platform (Terra)** **About the Team** Anduril's Geospatial Platform (Terra) team owns geospatial cloud infrastructure, geospatial edge software, and geospatial data. The team provides highly available and resilient cloud services, high-performance edge software, and the latest geospatial data to support all Anduril warfighter missions. **About the Role** Work on cloud infrastructure, edge software, and data projects. Design and implement capabilities that are part of Lattice in the cloud and at the edge, collaborating across business lines to deliver indispensable software platforms. **What You'll Do** • Build data ingestion pipelines that process large geospatial datasets • Create a platform that lets users access geospatial data • Build edge software that enables high performance offline access to geospatial data • Collaborate with other Lattice service teams and Anduril business lines to design and build solutions **Required Qualifications** • 3-7 years working with programming languages (Go, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust, etc.) • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Kubernetes, CI/CD and GitOps tools, and software infrastructure fundamentals • Experience working with customers to deliver novel software capabilities • Passion for building platform and infrastructure tooling that enables other engineers to scale • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance **Preferred Qualifications** • Built or invented something (app, website, game, startup) • Experience in startup or startup-like engineering environments • Professional software development lifecycle experience • Deep understanding of computers and networks at scale • Experience building scalable backend software systems • Experience with modern build and deployment tooling (Crossplane, Terraform) • Experience designing complex software systems and technical design reviews • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and data management tools **Compensation** $166,000 – $220,000 USD (base salary; equity grants included in most offers) **Benefits** Comprehensive, competitive benefits package available at little to no cost to employees.
