About this role
**Anduril Industries — Mission Support Engineer (Electromagnetic Warfare)** **About the Team** Anduril’s Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Business Line builds next-generation electronic warfare platforms that integrate with the broader Anduril Lattice ecosystem. The Mission Support team ensures these systems are operationally ready, successfully deployed, and continuously supported. **About the Job** As a Mission Support Engineer, you’ll help keep Anduril’s EW systems running at peak performance. These products provide real-time RF spectrum awareness, threat detection, and electronic mitigation capabilities at the tactical edge. You’ll be the critical link between fielded systems and engineering—feeding data, insights, and operational requirements back to development teams to drive product improvements. **What You’ll Do** - Own the operational performance of deployed EW systems across multiple theaters; serve as the primary technical interface between field operations and engineering - Investigate and resolve system anomalies end-to-end (detection → root cause isolation → corrective action → post-incident documentation) - Contribute to validation and fielding of new EW software builds (pre-deployment verification and operational acceptance testing) - Use Linux diagnostics, log analysis, and command-line tooling to drive resolution and deploy cutting-edge software - Partner with engineering and product teams to enhance fleet-wide monitoring, alerting, and health telemetry - Aggregate and interpret field performance data to identify failure patterns, inform preventive maintenance, and guide engineering investment - Act as a trusted customer point of contact; manage technical issues with clear communication, timelines, and follow-through to closure - Translate operational feedback and mission requirements into actionable input for product development - Develop and maintain deep technical fluency across the EW product portfolio to communicate effectively with operators, engineers, and stakeholders - Orchestrate cross-functional responses to complex sustainment challenges to optimize system availability - Provide structured mission insights and deployment lessons learned to software and hardware engineering teams - Travel to field sites **if desired and opportunities arise** (not required) **Required Qualifications** - 3+ years’ defense industry, USG, or DoD/DoW experience performing technical operations - Experience working with and/or deploying complex software solutions - Experience with distributed communication networks and system-of-systems architectures - Ability to quickly understand and navigate disaggregated networking systems - Desire to perform high-stakes, critical, time-sensitive functions with real-world impact - Bias for action, extreme ownership, and self-driving motivation - Experience supporting incident-driven workflows - Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills - Ability to work non-standard hours and weekends, as needed - Ability to obtain and maintain **SECRET** security clearance **Preferred Qualifications** - BS in a STEM discipline (e.g., CS, software engineering, EE, IT, or similar) - Networking certifications (e.g., CompTIA Sec+/Net+, CCNA, Linux+, or similar) - Experience supporting/operating EW systems, software-defined radios, or RF sensors in a DoD/DoW context - Familiarity with RF/EW applications, power, antenna concepts, and spectrum analysis - Experience building, deploying, or testing au
