We're building tools and platforms that empower our community to bring their imagination to life. **The Role** As a Technical Developer Specialist, you'll help troubleshoot and improve beta projects within the Roblox ecosystem. You'll combine hands-on development expertise with technical problem-solving to identify issues, provide guidance, and help developers create better experiences. **Key Responsibilities** • Test projects in beta and identify potential issues or areas for improvement • Help debug technical issues and identify potential solutions • Provide technical guidance, documentation, examples, and best practices • Collaborate with engineering and internal teams on deeper investigations • Identify recurring questions and help improve developer resources • Learn new technologies and develop familiarity with the Roblox ecosystem **Required Qualifications** • **Roblox Studio:** Advanced proficiency with core building tools, asset management, and game structure • **Troubleshooting:** Ability to diagnose and resolve common Roblox development issues • **Scripting & Mechanics:** Strong proficiency in Lua/Luau scripting and advanced game mechanics • **Specialized Skills:** Expertise in 3D modeling, UI design, or other game development disciplines • **Experience:** Typically 4+ years of active development on Roblox or similar interactive 3D platforms • **Communication:** Excellent ability to break down complex technical concepts clearly • **Reporting:** Clear communication of progress, challenges, findings, and recommendations **Compensation & Details** 💰 Hourly Pay: $35 USD 📍 Location: USA (Part-Time Contract) 🏢 Office-based roles: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite (Monday/Friday optional) *Roblox is an equal opportunity employer.
