About this role

## Solutions Architect ### Responsibilities - Lead the evolution of the master data strategy by modernizing how customer and enterprise data is governed, trusted, and delivered. - Provide leadership on technology strategy and roadmaps for strategic and complex business capability domains. - Define solution architecture at the product level in line with architectural principles; apply industry best practices and design patterns to deliver scalable, secure solutions with strong technical performance. - Map technical integration points between systems. - Contribute to systems implementation plans and processes; oversee product development, integration, testing, and launch. - Provide insights into solution delivery plans based on technical timelines and dependencies. - Balance competing priorities while meeting deadlines and aligning architecture to deliver value. - Facilitate communication between technical teams and solution users. - Design and document overall system architecture, including data flows, integration points, and component dependencies. - Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to solution architecture, data management, and observability. - Contribute to external-facing technical publications (e.g., whitepapers, artifacts, case studies, architectural blueprints, blog posts). ### Travel / Work Location - Domestic travel: up to **10%** - Telecommuting permitted: up to **60%** ### Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, plus **15 years** of experience in the role or a Solutions Architect-related occupation. - **2 years** of experience in solution engineering, system design, and data management. **Demonstrated experience in areas such as:** 1. Data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques. 2. Monitoring and observability tools (e.g., **Splunk, Datadog, New Relic**). 3. Ability to articulate architecture designs and technical approaches. 4. Cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., **AWS**) and **Informatica MDM** or **Reltio MDM**. 5. Agile development methodologies and project management practices. 6. Translating business needs into software solutions. 7. Writing code, debugging, testing, and deploying cloud-native (AWS) applications. 8. MDM architecture and MDM platform integrations. 9. Contemporary frameworks and emerging technologies. 10. Data modeling, data quality, and governance. 11. Negotiation, facilitation, consensus building, and influencing. 12. Data integration and ETL (including **Informatica ETL**). 13. Identifying patterns/problems across teams and delivering effective solutions. 14. Data analysis and profiling. 15. CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing. 16. Application observability tools (including **DataDog**). 17. Architecture and integration with API and event-based solutions. 18. Technical proficiency: databases, data warehousing, **PL/SQL**, and **REST APIs**. *Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
