We believe culture, craft, and customer obsession go hand in hand. ## The Opportunity Your role is to own the frontend experience where the promise either holds up or breaks down. Frontend is still being written—so you’ll help define the architecture, design system, and patterns the team will follow for years. ## What You’ll Build - **A design system the whole team builds on**: shared components, patterns, and primitives that make the right thing the easy thing. - **Frontend architecture that scales with the product**: structural decisions around state, data fetching, module boundaries, and performance. - **Features customers feel, owned end to end**: partner with product and design from first sketch to production; push back on flows that don’t work and propose better ones. - **A shipping pipeline engineers trust**: tooling, e2e testing, deployment, and observability to enable continuous shipping. Participate in on-call, and mentor engineers to raise the bar for craft. ## What Makes You Successful - **6+ years** professional software engineering experience with **React** and **TypeScript** - Proven ownership of a **UI design system** (built/evolved a shared component library) - Experience with **e2e testing** and quality tooling as teams scale - Strong **UX instincts** and a user-centered mindset - Comfortable with **ambiguity** and early-stage ownership - **B.S. or higher** in computer science (or relevant field) or equivalent experience **Bonus points if you have:** GraphQL, Playwright, TailwindCSS; owned frontend at an early-stage company; built LLM-integrated features; worked in health-tech/healthcare. ## Benefits - 100% paid employee health benefit options (medical, dental, vision) - 401(k) with employer funded match - Unlimited Vacation - Commuter Benefits - Paid parental leave - Catered lunch on Fridays - Wellness stipend ## Compensation Annual salary range: **$175,000 – $225,000** + equity + benefits (medical, dental, vision). Final compensation depends on experience, interview performance, and internal equity.
