**Security Incident Response Manager, Abuse Operations** **About the Role** Lead fraud and abuse incident response end-to-end at Stripe, investigating high-risk accounts, identifying complex fraud patterns, and driving cross-functional improvements to scale fraud detection and prevention. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead fraud and abuse incident response as Incident Response Manager, coordinating workstreams and making actionable mitigation recommendations • Investigate and remediate urgent fraud incidents (ATO, card testing) using detection signals and enrichment • Analyze high-risk accounts to identify fraudulent merchants, account takeovers, and fraud vectors • Develop and execute incident response strategies, runbooks, and capabilities • Partner cross-functionally with security, data science, legal, and policy teams • Mentor teammates and lead incident response engineering projects **Minimum Requirements** • 10+ years leading security or fraud incident response • B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Expert knowledge of Python and SQL • Experience with log analysis, network security, digital forensics, and incident response investigations • Proven ability to build automated response workflows and make risk mitigation recommendations • Strong written and verbal communication skills **Preferred Qualifications** • Broad expertise in fraud/abuse mitigation, risk management, and product trust • Adversarial mindset and understanding of threat actor behaviors • Experience with Databricks, Trino, or similar data tools • Familiarity with PySpark, Pandas, Sci-kit Learn • Tactical threat intelligence and hunting experience • Data-driven approach to product integrity challenges
