**Network Engineer** **About the Role** Support and optimize enterprise network infrastructure by integrating traditional networking skills with modern cloud and SaaS solutions. Collaborate with vendors on critical infrastructure including UPS systems, generators, and HVAC equipment. **Key Responsibilities** • Analyze and resolve LAN/WAN, routing, and switching issues • Create automated solutions using Python, Bash, REST, and NETCONF • Deploy SaaS applications (Cisco DNA, ISE, Firepower Management Center) • Troubleshoot hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, on-premises) • Establish and maintain ISP connections for WAN reliability • Evaluate and implement wireless network improvements • Integrate software-defined networking (SDN) tools • Monitor critical infrastructure and coordinate vendor repairs • Document configurations, incidents, and procedures • Perform root cause analysis and identify patterns • Mentor junior team members • Conduct security compliance audits • Support disaster recovery planning and testing • Participate in proof-of-concept testing for new technologies **Required Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 3+ years in network engineering with traditional and cloud-integrated environments • Proficiency in routing protocols, network troubleshooting, and wireless deployments • Experience with AWS, Azure, and scripting • Vendor management familiarity **Bonus Qualifications** • 5+ years IT experience with cloud platforms and SaaS tools • Hands-on hybrid environment and critical infrastructure management • SDN experience (Cisco ACI, VMware NSX) • Python, PowerShell, or Bash proficiency • AWS or Cisco DevNet certifications • Predictive maintenance tool familiarity **Benefits** • 100% company-paid Medical, Vision & Dental coverage • 4 weeks PTO for new hires • PTO Embargo (no work interruptions during time off) • Additional PTO through volunteer hours • Mahalo moments program for life events • 90-minute workout lunches and nutritionist access
