## About the Role We’re hiring **New Grad (Spring 2027)** Software Engineers to join SpaceXAI software engineering teams. You’ll own **real product work** across the surfaces our users use every day, including **Grok Bot, Cloud Agents, Cursor**, and the systems underneath. You’ll **design, build, and ship** delightful, reliable products and systems—driving concrete problems end-to-end (UI through a bit of backend when needed), raising the bar on **taste and correctness** while moving fast. ## What We Value - **Strong attention to detail** - **First-principles reasoning** - **Great taste** - **High ownership** in a small, flat, talent-dense team - Judgment about using **AI tools as leverage** without sacrificing correctness ## You May Be a Fit If - You’re graduating in **Spring 2027** (CS, software engineering, computer engineering, or related) - You’ve already built something great—**an app, OSS, or shipped product** we can review (**required**) - You blend strong engineering with AI tools while maintaining correctness - You learn fast, take ownership, and have done something meaningfully hard early (internships or equivalent experience welcome) ## Sample Projects - Adding a small UI improvement to make AI-generated code/PRs easier to read and review - Turning a teammate’s rough idea into a working prototype in a few days, then iterating on feedback - Shipping a contained feature (frontend + a bit of backend), then fixing bugs and smoothing the experience after users try it ## Hiring Process If there appears to be a fit, we’ll reach out to schedule **2–3 short technical interviews**.
