With offices in San Francisco and Bengaluru, we’re **people-first** and build a fearlessly experimental, endlessly curious, customer-obsessed team. **Our Engineering Team** Architects the underlying operating system, core services, platform infrastructure, dev toolkits, core algorithms, machine learning models, packaged end-user apps, and app store marketplace. **As a Software Engineer**, you’ll design and develop Instabase services and applications across multiple layers of the stack. Our product and infrastructure is written in **Go, Python, Java, and C++**, with **React + TypeScript** on the frontend. We use a micro-services model and deploy with **Docker and Kubernetes**. We’re hiring across all teams and technical areas, including **Product Engineering** and **Infrastructure Engineering**. **What you’ll do:** - Collaborate with engineers, product designers, and product managers to drive new features and applications from ideation to production - Build user interfaces, the core platform, and reusable components - Evaluate new frontend libraries/technologies and iterate on/maintain our frontend stack - Develop features that other Instabase teams can leverage to build apps and solutions - Move fast and make product/design decisions—contributing to the codebase in your first week and helping shape the UI and direction of the product **About you:** - Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Applied Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or a related field - Preferred graduation date between **May 2027 – June 2027** - Proficient in one or more of: **Python, Go, React, REST APIs** - Strong communication and collaboration, with a strong eagerness to learn **Benefits:** - Flexible PTO - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance - Parental leave & fertility benefits - Therapy sessions covered (10 free sessions through Samata Health) - Wellness stipend - Lunch on us (lunch credit when in the office) #Li-Hybrid Instabase is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
