The company combines machine learning, automation, and real-time threat intelligence with expert-led services to deliver advanced threat monitoring, detection, and response. **Role Summary** We are seeking an experienced Manager, Software Engineering (SRE) to lead a team focused on improving the reliability, scalability, and operational maturity of Sophos cloud services and engineering delivery systems. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead a distributed team across the U.S. and Canada • Oversee production reliability and operational readiness • Manage incident response and escalation processes • Drive observability, automation, and continuous improvement • Ensure release reliability across cloud-based platforms **Required Background** • Strong experience in site reliability engineering, platform engineering, and DevOps practices • Technical expertise in AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, CI/CD, and Linux • Knowledge of infrastructure as code, observability, and cost optimization • Understanding of security practices and compliance requirements • Proven team leadership and stakeholder alignment skills • Ability to guide technical discussions and drive execution at scale
