About this role
**Java/Informatica Technical Lead** **Location:** Remote **Shift:** 8am – 5pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) --- ## Responsibilities - Provide overall technical direction and leadership to the development team - Lead application architecture, design, development, unit testing, implementation, and production support - Design and develop solutions using **Java 17+**, **Spring Boot**, **Spring Batch**, **Informatica**, and **JBoss** - Develop and integrate cloud-based solutions using **AWS** services: **EC2, S3, SDS, DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda, AWS CLI** - Design, deploy, and support containerized services using **OpenShift** and **Kubernetes** - Guide developers on technical design, coding standards, architecture, and best practices - Review technical designs and code for quality, scalability, security, and performance - Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, and technical issues - Collaborate with business, technical, architecture, and project teams across the development lifecycle - Mentor developers and provide technical guidance to support successful delivery --- ## Qualifications **Basic Qualifications** - Must be a **U.S. Citizen** with the ability to obtain and maintain the required **Public Trust** clearance - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) **+ 8+ years** experience, or High School diploma/equivalent **+ 12+ years** experience - **8+ years** application development experience, including experience leading technical development teams - Strong hands-on experience with **Java 17+**, **Spring Boot**, and **Spring Batch** - Strong hands-on experience with **AWS**: **EC2, S3, SDS, DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda, AWS CLI** - Strong hands-on experience with **Informatica** - Experience developing and supporting containerized services using **OpenShift** and **Kubernetes** - Demonstrated experience as a **Technical Lead and/or Architect** - Experience with application design, development, unit testing, implementation, troubleshooting, and production support - Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience supporting both front-end and back-end development - Strong **Java/JBoss** experience - Experience leading full-stack development in complex enterprise environments - Experience in **Agile** environments and collaborating with cross-functional technical teams --- ## Target Salary Range **$135,000 – $216,000** (typical range; final offer depends on factors including experience, education, location, and contract/business considerations) --- **Peraton Overview** Peraton is a next-generation national security company providing trusted, differentiated solutions and enterprise IT to protect U.S. missions and allies. **EEO:** Equal opportunity employer, including disability and protected veterans, or other characteristics protected by law.
