As the **AI Platform for Telemetry**, Cribl gives customers choice, control, and flexibility to manage and analyze telemetry for both humans and agents. --- ### 🔍 Role Overview The **Senior Legal AI Platform Engineer** is the builder and architect inside the Legal team — turning requirements, contract logic, risk tolerances, and service design into durable workflows, integrations, automations, agents, and technical controls. You'll own the technical implementation and operation of Legal AI systems while preserving decision rights of lawyers, privacy professionals, security partners, and business owners. The roadmap includes AI plugins, privacy software, CLM/CRM continuity, denied-party integrations, clickwrap, data & security pipelines, HR contract workflows, and broader AI enablement. --- ### 🛠️ What You'll Do - Independently own Legal AI systems from requirements through implementation, release, operation, and documentation - Architect and operate integrations across CLM, CRM, intake, workflow, identity, and collaboration systems via APIs, webhooks, queues, and automation platforms - Translate approved legal language, routing rules, and risk thresholds into maintainable technical controls with required HITL review - Build governed AI plugins, single-job agents, and automations consuming approved source content - Develop evaluation and quality controls including test sets, regression checks, schema validation, and traceability - Instrument the stack for reliability, auditability, model/vendor cost, and operational telemetry - Apply production controls for SSO/SCIM, service identities, secrets management, logging, monitoring, and rollback - Maintain automated tests, CI/CD workflows, dependency controls, runbooks, and system maps - Improve self-service contracting by encoding approved language, conditions, routing, and review gates - Support reporting, data modeling, and operational telemetry covering automation rates, cycle times, and business impact - Mentor others and collaborate effectively across a remote-first, multi-timezone environment --- ### ✅ Requirements - Seasoned experience in software, platform, integration, or infrastructure engineering with ownership of complex production systems - Hands-on proficiency with Python, APIs, webhooks, structured data, automation, and systems troubleshooting - Experience with cloud services, event-driven architectures, queues, containers, source control, CI/CD, and production observability - Practical experience with AI/LLM systems — model APIs, retrieval/tool-use patterns, agents, evaluation, and HITL controls - Strong identity and security fundamentals: OAuth, SSO/SCIM, least-privilege access, secrets management, audit logging - End-to-end technical ownership of CLM, CRM, workflow, or adjacent operational platforms - Strong systems thinking and ability to translate legal/compliance requirements into workflows, fields, and auditable evidence - Excellent communication skills across engineers, lawyers, analysts, security, finance, and People teams - Experience with AI governance, privacy, or legal knowledge systems balancing enablement with control - **Bonus:** AWS serverless, containerized workloads, GitHub Actions, MCP/tool-us
