## About the Role We are seeking a **Professional Services Consultant** to lead customer migrations from **Secure Email Gateways (SEGs)** to **Abnormal AI**. You’ll use your expertise in enterprise mail flow, email security, and cloud-based infrastructures to ensure a seamless, secure, and efficient transition. As part of the Professional Services Team, you’ll work with customers to understand migration objectives, execute structured delivery plans, manage projects, mitigate risks, and minimize disruptions for enterprise customers across industries. You’ll follow established delivery methodologies and contribute feedback as you gain experience with new scenarios. --- ## Who you are - Track record of delivering projects, balancing priorities, and coordinating across teams - Strong problem-solving skills—identify migration risks, address roadblocks, and drive resolution - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with technical stakeholders and senior customer contacts - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment - Hands-on, solution-driven mindset with a proactive approach --- ## What you will do - Manage migration projects to ensure a seamless transition from legacy SEGs to Abnormal Security - Provide guidance on enterprise mail flow (SMTP, MX records, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and routing across hybrid cloud and on-prem) - Advise on native security controls in **Microsoft 365** and **Google Workspace** to replace SEG functionality - Guide email security policies, implement anti-phishing protections, and maintain compliance with industry regulations - Troubleshoot and resolve mail flow issues to ensure secure, reliable delivery post-migration - Apply and provide feedback on SEG displacement methodology and best practices - Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to support deployment workflows - Execute project plans with on-time delivery, scope control, and quality assurance - Identify migration risks and escalate when needed - Provide clear, regular status updates aligned with key stakeholders --- ## Must Haves - **BS/BA degree** with **5–7 years** in a customer-facing role managing enterprise-grade cybersecurity SaaS deployments or migrations - Experience with enterprise mail flow integration and migration projects, including exposure to SEG decommissioning - Strong knowledge of enterprise mail flow and architecture: SMTP, MX records, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and routing in cloud/on-prem environments - Understanding of email security, filtering, threat protection, and DLP; familiarity with compliance frameworks such as **SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR** - Experience leveraging AI platforms such as **Glean** and **Claude** - Proficiency in **Microsoft 365** and **Google Workspace Security**, including **Defender for Office 365**, **Exchange Online Protection (ATP)**, and Google Workspace Security - Experience with email routing through firewalls, proxies, and mail relays (IP whitelisting, inbound/outbound rules, secure connectors) --- ## Compensation & Benefits Actual compensation will be determined based on non-discriminatory factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. - Base salary range: **$124,700 — $179,300 USD** - May also include bonus/incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package --- ## A note on AI in our process Abnormal AI uses AI-assisted tools to help the recruiting team prepare for candidate interviews.
