About this role
**Data Engineer, GTM** **About the Role** Build the data foundation for Anthropic's quote-to-cash lifecycle. Design canonical data models so Sales, Deal Desk, Order Management, Revenue Operations, and Finance work from one governed, auditable definition of deals. Partner with DS&A and GTM/Finance systems teams to make quote-to-cash data reliable, well-modeled, and self-serve as the business scales. **Key Responsibilities** • Translate data needs from Deal Desk, Order Management, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Sales into technical requirements • Design and own data models transforming raw Salesforce, CPQ, and billing data into canonical datasets • Establish high data integrity standards and SLAs for timely, accurate data delivery • Partner on upstream schema changes, new fields, and ingestion with Salesforce, CPQ, and billing engineers • Build foundational data products, dashboards, and tools enabling self-serve analytics • Influence stakeholder roadmaps and become the expert on Anthropic's GTM data models **You Might Be a Good Fit If You Have** • 5+ years as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or similar role (ideally with GTM, Revenue Operations, or Finance teams) • Hands-on experience modeling Salesforce data and at least one quote-to-cash system (CPQ, CLM, billing, or ERP) • Expertise building multi-step ETL jobs and robust data models with dbt, Airflow, and GitHub • Strong SQL and Python skills for data transformation • Experience building dashboards in visualization tools like Hex • Bias for action and urgency; full-stack mindset to solve problems end-to-end • Experience building Analytics Data Engineering functions at startups • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and create clarity • Passion for Anthropic's mission of building helpful, honest, and harmless AI **Compensation & Details** $320,000 – $405,000 USD annually | Bachelor's degree required | Hybrid (25%+ office time) | Visa sponsorship available
