**Solutions Architect - Digital Native Business (Healthtech)** **The Role** Lead technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions, driving platform adoption, and serving as a trusted advisor. Combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to position Databricks as the foundation of customers' data and AI strategy. Develop technical specialization in a specific domain with understanding of ML & AI applications in Healthtech. **Key Responsibilities** • Own end-to-end technical strategy from discovery through production deployment • Lead complex architecture discussions for scalable, production-grade solutions • Serve as trusted technical advisor to customer architects and engineering leaders • Drive technical wins in competitive scenarios • Develop emerging technical specialization and become a go-to resource • Orchestrate cross-functional resources for comprehensive solutions • Influence product direction with structured customer feedback **Required Qualifications** • 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre-sales, or senior technical role • Strong Python and SQL proficiency with live coding and debugging skills • Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture • Proficiency on Databricks Platform with developing technical specialization • Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders • Production deployment experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP • Track record of driving platform adoption and consumption growth • Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or quantitative discipline **Desired Qualifications** • Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, EDI/X12, ICD-10, CPT codes) • Experience with pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or medical device companies **Nice to Have** • Databricks certifications (Data Engineer, ML, Platform) • Experience with competitive platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure Synapse) • Background in data/AI company or cloud provider • Industry domain expertise **Interview Process** Recruiter Screen → Hiring Manager Screen → Design and Architecture Interview → Live Coding Assessment → Build, Demo, Pitch Presentation → Reference Check **Compensation** $180,000 – $247,500 USD (based on location and qualifications) **About Databricks** The Data and AI company trusted by 20,000+ organizations including 70% of Fortune 500.
