About this role
**Salesforce Developer — Anthropic** ## About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems—safe and beneficial for users and society. ## About the role As a **Salesforce Developer** at Anthropic, you’ll design, build, and maintain the Salesforce platform that powers core customer motions and **quote-to-cash**. You’ll work across teams including RevOps, Order Management, Legal, Billing Engineering, Deal Desk, Finance/Accounting, and Product to translate pricing and packaging requirements into scalable **Apex**, **Flow**, and **integration** solutions. You’ll use **Claude** and Anthropic’s internal AI development tooling as a core part of how you write, review, and ship code—aligned with house standards for flexibility, maintainability, and scale. ## Key responsibilities - Develop and maintain **Apex** (triggers, services, selectors, batch/queueable), **Lightning Web Components**, and **Flow** automation using Anthropic’s Apex standards and trigger framework. - Design and build **quote-to-cash infrastructure**: product catalog & pricing data model, quote/order lifecycle, discount & approval automation, and amendment/renewal/co-termination flows. - Extend **CPQ** and expand into **agentic selling** with custom pricing and quote-calculation logic, quote/order user experiences, and code built against CPQ package APIs and data model. - Build and own integrations between Salesforce and billing/provisioning/finance systems (e.g., **Stripe, Metronome, NetSuite**) via REST/Bulk APIs, middleware, or direct callouts. - Support new product and pricing launches by modeling catalog/SKU/pricing changes so they’re reflected consistently across downstream systems. - Use **Claude** and internal AI development tooling as a first-class part of build and code-review workflows. - Partner with Business Systems analysts and Finance to ensure data-model decisions support bookings, forecasting, and revenue reporting. - Partner with DevOps on release management (sandbox strategy, source control, peer review, and deployment via **SFDX/metadata** tooling). - Ensure appropriate controls, test coverage, and documentation—especially around pricing, discounting, and contract changes. - Operate with ambiguity: resolve problems independently and propose scalable solutions. ## Minimum qualifications - Hands-on Salesforce development experience in a production org (**Apex, SOQL, LWC, Flow**). - Experience building/extending **CPQ** and **quote-to-cash** functionality (Salesforce CPQ / Revenue Cloud / Nue or similar), including product/pricing data models, quote/order lifecycle, approval automation, and amendments/renewals with custom code. - Experience integrating Salesforce with billing/ERP/provisioning systems via REST/Bulk APIs, middleware (e.g., Workato/MuleSoft), or direct callouts. - Fluency with **SFDX**, source-controlled metadata, and sandbox-to-prod release processes with peer review. - Active use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., **Claude, Copilot, Cursor**) and ability to explain how you steer/verify outputs. - Basic **SQL** skills and comfort working alongside a data warehouse. - Effective communication with sales, deal desk, finance/accounting, product, and engineering stakeholders. ## Preferred qualifications - Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications. - Advanced Administrator or Application/System Architect certification. - Deep understanding of
