**Scale AI — Technical Program Manager, Public Sector (Boston, MA)** Scale AI is helping the U.S. government unlock the potential of AI across national security missions. We’re building enterprise-grade generative AI solutions and delivering them into operational use cases that matter. ## What you’ll do - Drive innovation and transformation by diving deep into technical and operational challenges, solving undefined problems, and delivering impactful solutions for Public Sector customers - Leverage technical concepts, tools, and expertise to create solutions from scratch or drastically improve existing solutions - Use data, analytics, and technical expertise to align internal resources and create tools that directly add value to customers - Transition AI/ML technologies and processes into working Public Sector products/solutions—even when requirements are undefined or ambiguous - Partner with engineering, operations, and other public sector teams to build and deliver AI systems tailored to unique government use cases (computer vision + generative AI) - Lead cross-functional teams to exceed customer AI/ML objectives - Manage long-term customer health by identifying and preempting areas of risk or concern - Make customer success repeatable by solving issues for future customers - Address engineering problems alongside product development teams ## Must Haves - **Active TS/SCI clearance** - **3+ years** of experience succeeding in stakeholder management or a customer-facing role - Technical background (education or professional experience with computer science, statistics, or engineering) - Deep understanding of generative AI/ML fundamentals such as **RAG, evals, and agent orchestration** - Track record of structured, analytics-driven problem-solving - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work at a cleared facility in the greater Boston area **3+ days/week** and willingness to travel **at least 25%** (with occasional surge periods of **50%**) ## Nice to haves - Aerospace manufacturing familiarity, including: - Hands-on exposure to CAD product lifecycle management ecosystems - Configuration management practices - Engineering drawing standards - Digital twin concepts - Prior experience on legacy aircraft sustainment or maintenance, repair, and overhaul programs ## Compensation (Massachusetts) - Base salary range: **$138,400 — $249,000 USD** - Compensation packages may include base salary, equity, and benefits (health/dental/vision, retirement, learning & development stipend, generous PTO; commuter stipend may apply) ## Note - Policy requires a **90-day waiting period** before reconsidering candidates for the same role. ## About Scale AI At Scale, our mission is to develop reliable AI systems for the world’s most important decisions.
