## Developer Support Engineer (Sunnyvale) ### About the role At JFrog, we’re reinventing DevOps to help the world’s greatest companies innovate. As a **Developer Support Engineer**, you’ll be the technical focal point for JFrog customers—partnering with them to troubleshoot, reproduce issues, and deliver solutions. ### What you’ll do - Troubleshoot and investigate complex customer **CI/CD** scenarios and provide innovative solutions - Develop scripts in **Bash, Python, Groovy** for debugging and automation - Set up **JFrog applications** and 3rd-party products across development environments - Analyze **log files, thread dumps, HTTP traffic, JVM and OS parameters** - Reproduce customer scenarios and help drive relevant **bugs/features** - Maintain and improve a **knowledge base** of known issues and solutions - Collaborate with **R&D, QA, Release, and Sales** teams - Work flexible hours and weekends as needed ### What you’ll need - **BS (or equivalent)** in Computer Science/related fields, plus **2 years** or similar experience - **Customer-facing experience** (3–5+ years) - Ability to manage complex escalated cases across multiple architectures/platforms - **Linux (mandatory)** - Strong technical debugging skills (mandatory) - Understanding of **Java or other compiled languages (mandatory)** ### Nice to have - Knowledge/experience with **databases, LDAP, Apache HTTPS, Apache Tomcat** - Experience with **networking and reverse proxy** (nginx/httpd) - Experience in **DevOps** - **Spanish** speaking skills (preferred) ### Compensation & work model - Base salary range: **$90,000 – $105,000** (based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location) - **Hybrid work**: 3 days in office / 2 days remote - **Equity**: RSUs (restricted stock units) + eligibility for Employee Stock Purchase Plan - Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, retirement, wellness, and more *JFrog is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.*
