You’ll help build frontier innovation around: - **Efficiency** - **Gradient-free exploration** - **Real-time learning** - **Interface design** As synthetic data generation becomes cheaper, we can treat the data space as **malleable** and optimize it—steering synthetic data toward desirable properties and making previously invisible worlds more visible. **Responsibilities** - **Innovation:** Co-design algorithms that react in real time to product signals and feedback; design new feedback mechanisms. - **Cross-stack optimization:** Collaborate across software, hardware, and algorithmic domains to achieve system-wide efficiency gains. - **Measure what matters:** Prioritize real-world impact—product is central because algorithms can interact with the world. **Qualifications** - **PhD** (or equivalent research experience) in a computer science field - **4–5+ years** of industry experience - Deep expertise in at least one area: **model efficiency**, **real-time alignment**, or **algorithmic optimization** - **Systems thinking** across the full ML stack - Strong **Python** skills; experience with **PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow** - Knowledge of model optimization techniques (e.g., **RLHF**, **fine-tuning**) - Experience in an **industry lab** with computing at scale **About Us** Most AI is “frozen”—it doesn’t adapt to the world.
