**Sr. Application Security Engineer** **About SentinelOne** AI-native cybersecurity platform unifying protection across endpoint, cloud, identity, data, and AI systems. We're at the intersection of AI and security, pioneering autonomous detection and response. **The Role** Join Wayfinder Frontier AI Services as a trusted advisor for source code assessments. You'll review findings from our agentic code scanning pipeline, validate results, and deliver insights to technical and executive stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** • Support customer engagements end-to-end: scope, deliver findings, present to stakeholders • Review and triage findings from AI-assisted scanning for C, C++, Rust, and Java codebases • Conduct deep code reviews and identify vulnerabilities at framework level • Present technical risk in business terms; map exposures to exploitation chains • Author and maintain SAST rule packs; partner with AI/ML teams to improve scanning • Provide remediation guidance and validate customer fixes • Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance pipeline and reduce false positives **Required Experience** • 5+ years in application or product security with strong software development background • Proficiency in at least 2 of: C, C++, Rust, Java • Proven track record translating complex findings for technical and executive audiences • Customer-facing or consulting engagement experience • Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, CWE Top 25, modern auth (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, JWT) • Experience authoring custom SAST rules and validating automated analysis findings • Threat modeling throughout secure SDLC • Git-based source control and CI/CD pipeline fluency • Experience with AI-accelerated code scanning methodologies **Nice to Have** • Python (Django/Flask) and Node.js (Express) experience • Reverse engineering skills (IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, Ghidra) • OSWE, CSSLP, GWAPT, published CVEs, or conference talks • SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP compliance knowledge **Compensation & Benefits** **Base Salary:** $132,000–$160,000 USD (varies by location) **Equity:** RSUs, ESPP **Time Off:** Flexible PTO, paid holidays, paid sick time, parental leave **Insurance:** Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, life/disability, FSA, EAP **Perks:** Home office allowance, mobile reimbursement, wellness coach, gym reimbursement, fertility coverage, adoption/surrogacy reimbursement **Equal Opportunity Employer** SentinelOne does not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, veteran status, disability, or other legally protected characteristics.
