Active Secret or higher clearance strongly encouraged. --- **About the Role** Work with federal government customers to build and productionize data & AI solutions using the Databricks platform. You'll own architecture, lead design decisions, and implement end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role combining engineering expertise with business impact. **Travel:** Hybrid role with 20-25% travel to customer locations --- **Key Responsibilities** • Lead production solution delivery with custom applications and ML/AI integration • Guide strategic customers through transformational big data projects • Own architecture and design decisions ensuring security and scalability • Embed with customer teams to understand challenges and deliver impact • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and support teams • Contribute reusable assets and best practices that scale across accounts --- **Minimum Qualifications** • 6+ years in data engineering, data platforms, analytics, or software engineering • Fluency in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks • Working knowledge of 2+ cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP); expertise in at least one • Deep experience with PySpark, Apache Spark and Spark runtime internals • Experience with CI/CD, MLOps, and production end-to-end data architectures • Technical project delivery and enterprise client management experience **Preferred Qualifications** • 10+ years in enterprise-level distributed data systems • MLOps and AI API expertise • Databricks domain certification --- **Compensation** Base Salary: $182,000 – $250,208 USD (all zones) Includes eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
