With $125M raised at Series B, the company offers LangSmith (observability, evaluation, deployment) and open-source frameworks used by 5 of the Fortune 10 and 35% of the Fortune 500. **The Role** Join the Enterprise Readiness team to rebuild and scale LangChain's billing infrastructure. You'll architect a self-serve platform that enables teams to launch new pricing models in days instead of weeks, handling everything from simple per-trace billing to complex, configurable enterprise pricing. **Key Responsibilities** • Rearchitect the billing pipeline into a flexible, self-serve platform • Design and implement usage-based and token-based pricing infrastructure • Build systems for audit logging, usage tracking, and metering pipelines • Integrate with billing platforms (Metronome, Orb, Stripe) • Own billing reconciliation, deduplication, and edge cases (proration, disputes, credits) • Partner with billing PM and enterprise teams on infrastructure roadmap **Requirements** • 5+ years backend engineering with Python or Go (both preferred) • Hands-on experience building or scaling usage-based/subscription billing infrastructure • Experience with metering, invoicing, or pricing-model logic • Familiarity with Postgres, Redis, APIs, and distributed backend infrastructure • Strong ownership mindset in fast-paced startup environments **Nice to Have** • Token-based or usage-based cost tracking experience from LLM/API-first companies **Compensation & Benefits** $175,000 - $240,000 annually + equity, medical/dental/vision, flexible vacation, 401(k), meals on in-office days **Location** In-person, 5 days/week in San Francisco
