**Principal Full Stack Engineer** **About the Role:** Join the Global Enterprise Services team within Global Finance Tech (GFT) as a Principal Full Stack Engineer. Lead the Jet Setters squad's technical direction, architecting and delivering back-end and full-stack applications for a portfolio of 22 GFT products including the Reservation System, Contracts Portal, and Corporate Aviation Flight Approvals. **Key Responsibilities:** • Set technical vision and architecture strategy, balancing delivery with scalability • Lead design and development of complex, high-impact applications • Provide technical leadership and hands-on mentorship to engineers • Establish engineering guidelines, standards, and best practices • Own automated testing, CI/CD, and observability strategies • Lead impact analyses for complex, systemic changes • Define strategy for integrating AI-powered features across products • Partner with product and business leaders on technical roadmaps **Required Qualifications:** • Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline • 8+ years Full Stack Engineering experience with technical lead/principal background • Advanced proficiency: TypeScript, React, Node.js, AWS Lambda, SQL, Spring Boot, GitHub Actions • Deep expertise in object-oriented design patterns and distributed systems • Proven track record architecting large-scale production applications • Experience leading engineering teams and driving best practices adoption • Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills **Nice to Have:** • AI/ML concepts and LLM API integration experience • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns knowledge • Prompt engineering expertise • Cloud-native architecture design (AWS preferred) **Work Location:** Hybrid (2 days onsite) - Portsmouth, NH or Boston, MA **Requirements:** Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
