## Zuora System Specialist **About the role** At Absorb, we believe great systems create great experiences. As a **Billing Systems Specialist**, you’ll help ensure the technology behind our **quote-to-cash** process is accurate, scalable, and seamless. You’ll sit at the intersection of **Salesforce, Zuora, Finance, and Sales**, owning and optimizing the systems that power our SaaS subscription business—from **pricing and quoting** to **invoicing, renewals, and revenue operations**. **What you’ll do** - Own and optimize **Zuora Billing**, including product catalog management, pricing, subscriptions, invoicing, and payment processes. - Manage and troubleshoot the **Salesforce–Zuora integration** to ensure accurate data flow across the quote-to-cash lifecycle. - Improve billing operations through **automation**, process enhancements, and data quality initiatives that reduce manual effort. - Partner closely with **Finance** to support billing accuracy, revenue recognition, forecasting, and month-end activities. - Serve as the **billing systems expert**, resolving complex issues and collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Finance. - Analyze billing data, monitor system performance, and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement. **What you’ll bring** - Hands-on **Zuora Billing** experience (product catalog management, SKU configuration, workflow automation, subscription amendments, and reporting). - Understanding of the **Salesforce ecosystem**, ideally with exposure to **Zuora for Salesforce** connector or **CPQ**. - Strong grasp of **SaaS subscription billing** concepts (ARR, MRR, proration, amendments, co-terming). - Familiarity with **quote-to-cash** processes and where handoffs between Sales, Finance, and Systems occur. - Analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement and efficiency. - Comfort working across business and technical stakeholders (able to collaborate with both finance leadership and system admins). **Technologies we use** - Zuora, Salesforce, Jira, Freshservice, Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT **What we offer** - **Fully remote-first** work with flexible arrangements 🏡 - Comprehensive **health and wellness benefits** (including retirement savings, bonus eligibility, generous time off, and medical/dental based on location) 🧘 - **New hire equipment allowance** and monthly **flex allowance** 📦 - Endless opportunity for **career growth** and internal mobility 🌱 - Employee-driven **DE&I programs** 🫶 *Ready to become an Absorber?*
