**Senior Mobile Network Engineer** **About the Role** Peraton is seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Network Engineer to join our team. You will support network operations across multiple levels—from monitoring and troubleshooting to tooling and designing—while ensuring the network remains well-maintained and healthy. You'll identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability through automation. **Key Responsibilities** • Run day-to-day mobile network operations including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response • Write scripts to automate repetitive operations work (alerting, service checks, routine tasks) • Architect and build internal dashboards for network monitoring, performance, and KPI tracking • Use custom automations and APIs to integrate network elements, monitoring systems, and alerting platforms • Support international roaming operations (IREG/TADIG testing, performance monitoring, troubleshooting) • Collaborate with network engineering, vendors, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues **Required Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mobile Computing, or related field • 5+ years in telecommunications or network operations • Strong hands-on experience with mobile network technologies (2G-5G) • Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages • Knowledge of IMS, VAS platforms, core network elements, 3GPP specifications, SS7/MAP, Diameter signaling • Experience automating operational workflows (reporting, monitoring, alerting, remediation) • **TS/SCI clearance required** **Compensation** $135,000 - $216,000 (based on experience, education, location, and other factors) **Equal Opportunity Employer** Peraton is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
