## Senior Full Stack Engineer, Integrations VistA ### About Abridge Abridge was founded in 2018 with the mission of powering deeper understanding in healthcare. Powered by auditable AI, Abridge maps AI-generated summaries to ground truth so clinicians can quickly trust and verify outputs. ### The Role Abridge is looking for **Senior Integrations Engineers** to support expansion during a hyper-growth phase. You’ll design, build, and scale integrations that power the product—working with engineers, implementation specialists, support, and product managers to deliver **real-time and batch** integrations with partners and clients. ### What You’ll Do - Build robust healthcare integrations while maintaining **security, privacy, and quality** - Leverage healthcare and industry standards such as **REST-like APIs**, **FHIR**, and other third-party APIs - Design, build, and support integrations and infrastructure to scale the business - Collaborate with health system customers to deploy, troubleshoot, and support integrations (comfortable engaging external partners/stakeholders) - Enhance existing systems for new functionality and improved **performance, stability, quality, and security** - Maintain high engineering standards: improve code quality, add documentation, share knowledge, and reduce technical debt - Build deep user empathy with a user-centric mindset - Communicate effectively across cross-functional product delivery teams (design, product, machine learning, infrastructure) ### What You’ll Bring - **5+ years** launching business-critical integrations with large enterprises - **2+ years** of **VistA Integration** experience - Experience with **mPage Workflow components**, **Dynamic Documentation**, and **CCL** - Experience with **REST-like APIs (FHIR)**, **OAuth2.0**, and **mTLS** - Excitement about the tech stack (e.g., **NodeJS/TypeScript** and **Google Cloud Platform**) - Passion for healthcare integrations - Ability to work with autonomy and self-direction while collaborating in a team - Willingness to pitch in wherever needed (fast-moving startup) - Comfort working across domains and languages with curiosity to experiment and learn - Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders ### Nice to Have - **2+ years** working with healthcare data integrations - Experience delivering integrations with EHRs like **Oracle Health/VistA** and others - Familiarity with **FHIR, HL7, X12** ### Why Work at Abridge Abridge is transforming healthcare delivery experiences with generative AI, enabling clinicians and patients to connect in deeper, more meaningful ways.
