This is an AI-native environment where every team member is expected to leverage AI daily. ### Role Overview We’re seeking a **Senior AI Engineer — AI Product** to join ClickUp Engineering. You’ll build **user-facing, product-focused AI features** using the latest advancements in **LLMs and AI**, working closely with **product, design, and engineering** to deliver seamless, impactful experiences. ### Key Responsibilities - Lead the **design, development, and deployment** of AI-powered features that directly impact ClickUp users - Collaborate cross-functionally to identify AI opportunities and translate user needs into technical solutions - **Integrate and orchestrate multiple LLMs/AI models** for robust, context-aware, personalized experiences - **Prototype, test, and iterate** on new AI features using user feedback and data - Ensure **reliability, scalability, and performance** in production - Stay current with AI research and product trends, and incorporate advancements into the roadmap - Tackle **AI privacy, security, and compliance** challenges for responsible, ethical AI use - Mentor other engineers on best practices for building AI-powered products ### Qualifications - Proven experience shipping AI-powered products/features in production - Deep understanding of **LLMs and AI models** (strengths, limitations, integration strategies) - Experience with **orchestration frameworks** and integrating multiple AI models - Experience building **evaluation frameworks and metrics** (user impact + business value) - Familiarity with **AI privacy, security, and compliance** best practices - **5+ years** backend and/or full-stack engineering experience (e.g., **Python**, **JavaScript/TypeScript**) - **5+ years** experience with **PostgresDB, MySQL, or similar** - **5+ years** experience with **Elasticsearch or related technologies** - Experience setting up **production-ready observability and logging** - Strong cross-functional collaboration and ability to translate product requirements into technical solutions - Passion for applying AI research to real-world user problems - Excellent communication and mentorship skills **Location/Tags:** #LI-REMOTE #LI-AK2 #LI-CC1 *ClickUp is an Equal Opportunity Employer.*
