AI fluency is evaluated as part of our hiring process. --- ## Role Overview Join our **AI Platform** team as a **Staff AI Engineer — Multi-Agent Frameworks**. You’ll help build a cutting-edge platform that enables users to create and deploy sophisticated intelligent agents, with a strong focus on **collaborative and multi-agentic behaviors**. This is a **backend-focused** role requiring deep expertise in **AI, LLMs, and orchestration software**. --- ## Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain a robust platform for creating and managing AI agents and their interactions. - Integrate and orchestrate multiple LLMs to ensure seamless orchestration and scalability for both individual and coordinated agent operations. - Use orchestration frameworks (e.g., **LangGraph** and others) to build complex workflows and pipelines, including multi-agent coordination frameworks. - Develop and implement **evaluation frameworks** to test AI agents in challenging, complex scenarios—covering both individual performance and system-level dynamics. - Stay current with AI research and technologies, incorporating them to improve agent capabilities and collaboration. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PMs, designers, frontend engineers) to deliver a seamless user experience for building and deploying intelligent systems. - Tackle challenging **AI privacy** scenarios, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and best practices. - Improve **search capabilities** and integrate them into the AI platform so agents can access essential information. --- ## Qualifications - Proven experience working with multiple LLMs (e.g., **OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere**) and understanding their strengths/limitations. - Expertise in orchestration software such as **LangGraph** (or similar) for building and managing agent workflows. - Strong background building **evaluation frameworks** for AI systems, especially in complex testing environments. - Deep understanding of AI/ML fundamentals with a focus on **backend engineering**. - Passion for applying the latest AI developments to real-world problems, especially agent technologies. - Experience with challenging AI privacy scenarios (e.g., data anonymization, secure data handling, compliance). - Experience with search technologies and integrating them into AI systems. - Experience building or deploying **multi-agent frameworks/systems**. --- ## Equal Opportunity Employer ClickUp is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
