**Network Engineer** **Overview** Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) is seeking a Network Engineer to join the Network Engineering team. This role provides leadership in network design, validation, deployment, maintenance, and 24x7 operational support for one of the largest global financial networks. **Key Responsibilities** • Deploy, support, and maintain mixed vendor network infrastructure • Document and publish standards and designs • Assist ICE staff with problem solving and escalation procedures • Provide technical knowledge for safe and efficient network infrastructure changes • Collaborate with IT teams across the organization • Lead incident investigations, diagnosis, and service restoration **Required Qualifications** • Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or related field • 3+ years hands-on support and troubleshooting of production networks • 3+ years design and implementation experience with complex networks • In-depth knowledge of network principles and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) • Experience with switching protocols (L2/L3 VLANs, Spanning Tree) • Strong knowledge of NAT, route maps/ACLs, and routing policies • Strong Python development skills • Proficiency with configuration management tools (Ansible, Jinja, JSON) • Proficiency with GIT for version control • Sniffer trace analysis with deep TCP/IP protocol understanding • Basic Unix/Linux system administration • Excellent communication and documentation skills **Preferred Qualifications** • Wireless technology experience • Firewall and Load Balancer experience • Expert-level network certifications • In-depth hardware knowledge of switches and routers **Equal Opportunity** Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
