**IT Security Engineer - Top Secret Clearance** SpaceX is seeking an IT Security Engineer with deep knowledge across enterprise security technologies, including identity, endpoint protection, SIEM, and vulnerability management. You'll support SpaceX personnel and systems on classified networks in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** • Design, deploy, and operate security controls for classified IT networks (authentication, SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management) • Collaborate with IT teams to research, evaluate, and deploy security solutions • Harden and secure IT services (email, file servers, directory services, collaboration tools) • Partner with system and application owners on secure design and deployment • Lead detection, triage, and incident response for classified environments • Drive scripting and automation for security tasks and baselines • Define standards and best practices for systems design and implementation • Make recommendations and implement improvements using change control methodology **Basic Qualifications:** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or STEM discipline (or equivalent experience) • Deep knowledge of enterprise security technologies • Experience with identity services, endpoint protection, SIEM, and vulnerability management • Self-starter with ability to thrive in fast-paced, challenging environments **Note:** Top Secret clearance required. Must be flexible and possess strong problem-solving skills.
