**Appian Developer - Clearance Required** **Overview** LMI is a digital solutions provider dedicated to accelerating government impact with innovation and speed. We serve the defense, space, healthcare, and energy sectors, helping agencies navigate complexity and outpace change. **Role Summary** We're seeking an experienced Appian Developer to support Army Acquisition, Training, and Readiness (AT&R) in sustaining and enhancing the Army Contract Writing System (ACWS). You'll design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain Appian solutions supporting contract writing and Army Contracting Enterprise business processes. **Key Responsibilities** • Design, develop, test, and maintain Appian applications (SAIL interfaces, process models, data models, business rules, records, integrations) • Translate functional and technical requirements into scalable, user-friendly solutions • Configure Appian components: process models, interfaces, rules, expressions, records, data types, reports, dashboards • Design and implement integrations with external systems (REST, SOAP, Web APIs, SFTP, HTTPS) • Develop and optimize SQL queries and database interactions • Support deployments, environment promotion, troubleshooting, and production releases • Collaborate with architects, SMEs, QA, DevSecOps, DBAs, and stakeholders • Conduct design reviews, demos, and working sessions with government stakeholders • Perform code reviews and maintain development standards and security practices • Troubleshoot complex defects, integration issues, and performance problems • Develop technical documentation and training materials • Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement **Minimum Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 3+ years professional software development experience • 2+ years Appian development experience • Proficiency with SAIL, process modeling, data modeling, integrations, rules, expressions, records, data types • Experience deploying and supporting Appian Platform applications • SQL and relational database experience • RESTful API or web service development experience • Agile software development experience • Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one • U.S. citizenship required **Desired Skills** • Appian Associate, Senior, or Lead Developer certification • DoD contract writing or federal acquisition system experience • Appian plug-in development, Java/JEE, Spring, or Smart Services • LDAP, Active Directory, SSO, SAML, or enterprise identity technologies • ESB, SFTP, SOAP/WSDL, or enterprise API experience • FAR, DFARS, or federal acquisition process knowledge • Section 508 accessibility and secure software development experience **Compensation & Location** Salary Range: $101,144 - $174,591 (based on skills, experience, education, certifications) Location: US-Remote
