**Senior Network Engineer** **About the Role** As an Infrastructure Lead on the Exchange team, you'll own network infrastructure, deployment, and operational tooling for a unified trading platform running across cloud and on-prem/colocated venues. You'll keep latency-sensitive, multi-node trading environments fast, reliable, and easy to build on. **What You'll Do** • Own, operate, and optimize resilient, ultra-low-latency networks and physical data-center infrastructure supporting institutional trading, market data, and exchange connectivity • Design and maintain routing, traffic-segmentation, and multicast market-data architectures using BGP, OSPF, VRFs, PIM, IGMP, and high-availability platforms • Deploy and operate firewalls and secure connectivity across Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms, including IPsec VPNs and SSL VPNs • Drive observability through SNMP, gRPC telemetry, latency and packet-loss analysis, and network automation using Python or Ansible • Lead safe production changes, incident response, and failover testing for 24/7 trading systems • Mentor engineers and partner cross-functionally to improve reliability and reduce single-point-of-failure risk **Required Experience** • 8+ years of network, infrastructure, or SRE engineering in financial services, electronic trading, or latency-sensitive environments • Deep expertise with multicast networking, BGP, OSPF, VRFs, high-availability architectures, and low-latency data-center switching • Proven ability to lead live incident response for production trading systems • Experience with Fortinet or Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, SNMP/gRPC telemetry, and network automation • Familiarity with exchange or electronic trading system concepts **Compensation** Base salary: $186,065 – $218,900 USD (varies by location). Total compensation includes equity, bonus eligibility, and benefits.
