**Senior Infrastructure Engineer, SRE** **ABOUT ROCKET MONEY** Rocket Money's mission is to empower people to live their best financial lives by offering members a unique understanding of their finances and valuable services that save them time and money. **ABOUT THE ROLE** We're expanding our Cloud Infrastructure team with a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, SRE to lead the reliability and operational evolution of our platform. You'll work with hundreds of production services processing billions of transactions and terabytes of data daily. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** • Build and improve system reliability and resiliency • Establish SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for critical services • Own and evolve disaster recovery strategy with regular exercises • Partner with product teams to enable service ownership with real user experience metrics • Evolve observability platform across metrics, tracing, and logs • Strengthen incident practices and postmortem processes • Contribute to day-to-day infrastructure work and shared on-call rotation (1 week per 6) **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE** • 5+ years hands-on cloud/infrastructure engineering with production operations at scale • Defined SLIs and SLOs for real production services • Hands-on observability platform experience (Datadog preferred) • Comfortable writing code (Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar) • Production Terraform and AWS experience • Built or operated disaster recovery plans • On-call experience with strong opinions on alert quality • Preference for enabling teams over mandates **BONUS POINTS** • Led reliability or observability modernization projects • Built internal tooling or instrumentation standards • Run game days, chaos experiments, or DR exercises • Optimized observability spend **BENEFITS** Health, Dental & Vision • Competitive Pay • 401k Matching • Unlimited PTO • Daily Lunch (in-office) • Snacks & Coffee (in-office) • Commuter Benefits (in-office) **COMPENSATION** $150,000 - $185,000/year + bonus + benefits
