By replacing paperwork and disconnected tools with an easy-to-use solution, Carefeed saves time, reduces stress, and keeps residents, families, and staff informed and connected. **About the Role** We're looking for a **Lead Infrastructure Engineer** to build and maintain the systems supporting our software products. You'll lead cloud infrastructure design and implementation, build tools to enhance developer productivity, and guide the growth of our infrastructure practice. This role is ideal for engineers with product development and infrastructure experience eager to lead technical direction. **Responsibilities** • Build and operate cloud infrastructure supporting our products with focus on simplicity, reliability, and cost-effectiveness • Build and maintain a CI/CD pipeline that accelerates software releases • Drive adoption and standardization of operational tools (logging, alerting, observability) • Respond to production incidents and continuously improve system reliability • Collaborate across engineering, product, and business operations teams **Qualifications** • 6+ years in infrastructure, SRE, DevOps, or equivalent backend engineering experience • Deep passion for developer tooling and engineering efficiency • Strong AWS expertise (ECS, Aurora) • Fluent in Terraform with CI/CD systems experience • Comfortable working independently on complex problems • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent) **Work Location** Chicago, IL (Hybrid) **What You'll Love** • Impact in senior care communities • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) plan • Paid vacation, sick time, and company holidays • Culture focused on growth and career development
