## Analyst II, Systems Operations — ICE (SRE Team) ### Overview Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) is hiring a **full-time Analyst II, Systems Operations** to join our **SRE Team**, responsible for the stability of the **Mortgage Technology platform**. The team promotes a culture of **trust and risk-sharing**, continuous experimentation, and collaboration between development and operations. ### Responsibilities - Understand mortgage platforms and apply technical knowledge to improve **system performance and reliability** - Follow organizational practices for **Incident, Problem, and Change Management** - Own production incidents: **communication, escalation, resolution, and root-cause follow-up** - Stay organized and decisive under pressure during **urgent/critical production incidents** - Assist ICE staff with **problem solving and escalation procedures** - Partner with **client support** to communicate maintenance, changes, and events; address client concerns - Prepare documentation for **troubleshooting and escalation** - Create, manage, and maintain **operational tools** used in platform management - Develop and maintain **disaster-recovery runbooks and procedures** - Maintain **scheduling flexibility** ### Knowledge & Experience - Associate/bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience - Excellent communication skills - Working knowledge of **Windows, Linux and/or AWS** - Working knowledge of **database technologies** (e.g., **SQL Server, T-SQL**) - Experience writing software in at least one high-level language: **Python, Java, PowerShell, Perl** - Working knowledge of **internetworking** and **LAN/WAN** technologies - Working knowledge of **routers, switches, firewalls, and proxy** technologies - Understanding of **TCP/IP** and related network protocols - Team player with ability to interface effectively with technical and non-technical contributors - Logical, analytical problem-solving skills with ability to identify root cause(s) - Reliability, flexibility, and attention to detail ### Preferred - Network troubleshooting and **network forensic analysis** (e.g., packet capture analysis) - Linux/Windows administration and internals - Familiarity with: **Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, Perl, Bash/Shell, Node.js, SQL scripting** - Basic knowledge of **Java or .NET** coding/debugging - Ability to debug using **logs/stack traces** - Experience with **enterprise monitoring solutions and APM** - Experience with **configuration/infrastructure as code** tools (e.g., **Terraform, Chef, Puppet, CDK, Pulumi**) - Working knowledge of: **Cloudflare (CDN), DNS, LDAP, Splunk, XML, Jenkins, PagerDuty, Rundeck, Git, Tidal** --- **ICE is an Equal Opportunity Employer.** All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to legally protected characteristics.
