**Staff Software Engineer** **Location:** San Francisco, California **Salary:** $200,000 - $260,000 USD/year **Job Req ID:** 00109279 **About the Role:** Research, design, and develop computer and network software to build AR technology. Build reliable, high-throughput, low-latency, and scalable server and networking systems. Create key platform components for developers and participate in code reviews, load testing, and troubleshooting. **Key Responsibilities:** • Design and develop robust, efficient, and modular back-end systems and services • Perform load testing, code reviews, unit tests, and troubleshooting • Work with engineers, designers, game designers, and producers • Architect and integrate sophisticated systems with external partners • Develop and execute long-term technical strategy • Drive a culture of experimentation and improvement • May lead or supervise junior team members **Minimum Requirements:** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related quantitative field • 3+ years as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related role • Experience with: Object-oriented programming languages, Data structures, Algorithms, Software system architecture, Database design (SQL/NoSQL), Web frameworks, Cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) **Benefits:** Equity, bonuses, healthcare, retirement, pet insurance, paid holidays, unlimited PTO **Work Arrangement:** Partial telecommuting permitted within the US **To Apply:** Click APPLY NOW or email resume to employment@scopely.com
