Fast Company named us the #1 Most Innovative AI Company in the world. --- **Position Overview** Join our core engineering team as a Software Development Engineer III to build the LivePerson Voice offering. You'll work with Principal engineers and architects to design and execute innovative solutions, integrating voice into our existing platform and contact center solutions. **Key Responsibilities** • Architect, design, and implement business software and underlying APIs • Work with Product Management to create delightful user experiences • Create platform-independent code for multi-browser, multi-OS environments • Play a critical role in architecture, coding, testing, and deployment decisions • Write unit and automated end-to-end tests to maximize code coverage • Provide technical documentation and collaborate on code reviews • Communicate with customers and partners to deliver business and engineering value • Participate in agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) --- **Required Skills & Experience** • 8+ years building enterprise-class multi-tenant application platforms • 5+ years Java programming and Spring Boot-style frameworks • 2+ years TypeScript, Javascript, Node.js or equivalent • 3+ years building distributed RESTful microservices • 3+ years with Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, NoSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, Postgres, Firestore • Strong OOP design, web protocols, and distributed systems knowledge • Cloud experience (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and Kubernetes (GKE) • Git, Agile methodology, Linux/Windows administration • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field **Strong Plus:** • Angular/Vue UI development • Voice and messaging applications • Telephony, CRM, or CTI integration • Reactive programming --- **Compensation & Benefits** **Salary:** $140,000 - $160,000 USD (based on location, skills, experience, education, certifications) **Health & Wellbeing:** Medical, dental, vision insurance | EAP counseling | Wellness programs **Financial Security:** 401(k) with 4% employer match | HSA/FSA | ESPP | Life insurance | Disability coverage **Time Away:** Flexible PTO | Paid holidays | Generous parental leave **Workplace:** Fully remote with optional WeWork access --- **Why Join Us** We celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive workplace.
