## About Pivotal Pivotal is a leader in the emerging market of electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft. We design, develop, and manufacture light eVTOL aircraft, including the BlackFly—widely recognized as the world’s first light eVTOL to fly manned missions and enter the consumer market. Our tilt-aircraft architecture and scalable platform have been flying for over 10 years. We’re progressing toward general release and scalable production of our next-generation aircraft, the **Helix**, in **2026**. ## Role: Data Engineer — Flight Data (Contract) Pivotal is seeking a **Data Engineer** to build and operate the **flight data warehouse**—the system of record for telemetry from every aircraft in the fleet. ### What you’ll do - Turn continuously landing flight logs from customer and test aircraft into **curated datasets** - Build **automated fleet health alerts** - Create **dashboards** used by teams including: - Firmware - GNC - Battery - Flight Operations - MRO - Support airworthiness and design decisions with reliable, production-grade data ### Ownership & scope This is a small team building production infrastructure, so you’ll own pipelines **end to end**, including: - **Data modeling** - **Services** that run on the warehouse - **Infrastructure as Code** to deploy them - **Monitoring** to detect and resolve failures
