**2027 Summer Intern, BS/MS, Pipeline and Test Health Engineer** **About Waymo** Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company with the mission to be the world's most trusted driver. The Waymo Driver has provided over ten million rider-only trips and has autonomously driven over 100 million miles on public roads. **The Role** Waymo's Systems Engineering team is looking for talented interns to join our Pipeline and Test Health team. You'll work on projects that create real impact while expanding your skill-set. **What You'll Do** • Ensure release-critical tests execute on time and stay healthy • Debug and root cause issues in simulation tests • Build automation and infrastructure to alert the team of issues and track critical simulation tests • Stand up systems and processes to find issues early and drive them to resolution **What You Have** • Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related technical field • Excellent debugging and coding skills • Experience debugging complex systems • Experience coding in Python or C++ **We Prefer** • SRE principles and deep understanding of SLOs • Strong Python/SQL skills for automation and dashboards • Ability to isolate faulty components in complex, distributed systems **Compensation & Details** • Hybrid onsite internship position • Bachelor's: $60/hour USD • Master's: $70/hour USD • Eligible for company benefits programs • Rolling applications until filled
